To answer your question; Chemicals found in dispersants include -- * 1,2-Propanediol * Ethanol, 2-butoxy-* * Butanedioic acid, 2-sulfo-, 1,4-bis(2-ethylhexyl) ester, sodium salt (1:1) * Sorbitan, mono-(9Z)-9-octadecenoate * Sorbitan, mono-(9Z)-9-octadecenoate, poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl) derivs * Sorbitan, tri-(9Z)-9-octadecenoate, poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl) derivs * 2-Propanol, 1-(2-butoxy-1-methylethoxy) * Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated light *Note: This chemical (Ethanol, 2-butoxy-) is not included in Corexit 9500. hey, gasaholicMO: keep posting prices in your area. I consult Springfield prices regularly because in general you should be about 10 cents per gallon lower than here in St Louis due to our summer pollution mitigation gasoline mix. Right now we are averaging about 15 cents higher than you but when we hit that 10 cent mark it is my signal to BUY. By the way, up to just the last few days we were steady at $2.79 plus across the region: they rip us off big time up here. All the more reason to visit the Ozarks and fill up before coming home....
