I have driven US50 coast to coast, Loved Nevada but about starved, hard to find FOOD along that part of 50, follows old pony express route ... Also US2,6,20,30,40 and a few north south roads like US41 & US 31 ... Oh and Rt 66 !!! Mostly at Tax payers expense in military vehicles ... Drove parts of US50 at a top speed of 37 mph from Kansas to San Fran in an Army airplane deicer !!! Up hill the prairie dogs where faster then us !!! After I retired I spent a few yrs (until gas prices went way up) filling in the parts I never drove, driven all the interstates, just filled in the new parts of I69 in Indiana and Kentucky ... Since most of my driving was in the 70's, 80's & 90's most of my pics are 35mm ...
