Also, buy small gifts when doing regular grocery/drugstore shopping or else try to combine store shopping with trips within the area I am going to. Pretty much the same as previous years.

I just had both of my knees replaced, so it will be awhile before I can drive.. The other answer would have been more online shopping and or consolidated shopping trips !! It is hard to shop for someone that has everything !! We both purchase what we want and it is something we need !! We are not impulse buyers !! LOVE It . allmost done, got everything on time, all done. even the big orange box store, got my generator with free shipping, the driver even put it into my garage.

Easy choice, and the higher gas prices were just "icing on the cake". It was either online or drive around town, deal with crazy and silly people, fight crowds and hope you find what you are looking for.

We just go where we want/need to go disregarding gas prices--it isprice of going out. This tim eof year it is not good to go shopping anyway too big of crowds to deal with. Shop earlier in the year. would rather have instant gratification of buying in a store rather on line for most items.
